After-Sales Engineer

Jodescription

As the After-Sales Engineer with Verbruggen, you will rely heavily on your communication skills to service clients remotely and solve any technical issues they incur with Verbruggen material handling solutions. Once machines have been installed and commissioned, there will be an equipment and documentation handover from the operations department to the service department.

You will work out of the Pasco office, answering service calls, working on light assembly, spare parts amongst various other tasks. You will be given the chance to build upon your experience with remote problem solving, logging in on PLC’s, observing machine statuses etc. If a problem could not be solved remotely, you will have the opportunity to travel to customers’ sites and troubleshoot on site. Total expected travel is 25%.

An extensive onboarding program will supplement your knowledge of automated material handling systems within the industrial agricultural industry. Equipped with this knowledge, you will provide customers with expert advice and assist in solving any challenges they face.

  • Experience in technical service role
  • Electrically and mechanically trained
  • Knowledge of control techniques, PLC’s, and HMI’s
  • Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 25%
